alfanar showcased its latest medium-voltage technologies and solutions and energy asset management solutions during its participation in CIGRE Paris 2026, held from 23–28 August 2026 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. The exhibition is one of the world’s leading events dedicated to power systems, bringing together utilities, manufacturers, engineers, researchers, consultants, and industry decision-makers to exchange knowledge, explore the latest technological developments, and address the evolving requirements of modern power systems and the global energy transition.

During the exhibition, alfanar’s stand attracted a large number of visitors who expressed strong interest in learning about the company’s latest technologies and its SF₆-free medium-voltage products and solutions.

A key highlight of alfanar’s participation was the showcase of its comprehensive portfolio of SF₆-free medium-voltage solutions, including the cutting-edge 36 kV Primary GIS, alongside the signing of three strategic agreements aimed at strengthening technical collaboration and accelerating innovation across the energy and digital infrastructure sectors.

The first agreement was signed with Hitachi Energy, focusing on accelerating grid modernization and delivering safer, smarter, and more resilient energy solutions. The second agreement was signed with Patton, establishing a strategic alliance for the joint development and delivery of advanced solutions and products to enable smarter, more secure, and more resilient network infrastructure. The third agreement was signed with Rugged Monitoring, focusing on the development of alfaOne, a digital platform designed to accelerate the digital transformation of medium- and low-voltage equipment.

During the exhibition, alfanar also hosted a dedicated seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, addressing key developments in the energy sector. Eng. Yann Reynaud, VP Power Systems, Power Electronics and Datacenter (PSED), delivered a presentation titled “Decarbonated Electrical World,” highlighting the industry’s transition toward more sustainable electrical technologies. Eng. Basil Mabrouk, Executive Manager – R&D at alfanar Electric, presented “Next Generation of SF₆-Free Technologies & Solutions,” focusing on the latest developments in SF₆-free medium-voltage technologies. The technical program concluded with a presentation by Dr. Nader Aboudagga, Executive Manager – Automation and Distribution Systems & Technologies, focusing on alfanar’s latest alfaOne energy asset management solutions.

alfanar also contributed to CIGRE’s technical program at the CIGRE Center, where Eng. Yann Reynaud presented the company’s portfolio of SF₆-free medium-voltage solutions, highlighting alfanar’s latest advancements in sustainable power technologies.

The current edition of the exhibition attracted more than 13,000 specialists from 99 countries, with more than 330 international exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, products, and services across the power sector. The extensive technical program also featured more than 800 technical papers, alongside workshops, tutorials, technical discussions, and specialized sessions covering various aspects of the power system.
